Come and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Kurrebo Nursery and Show Gardens. Take a stroll amongst 1000 varieties of roses, perennials, climbing plants, conifers, shrubs and trees. The gardens will give you ideas and inspiartion for your own gardens and you can buy plants and garden products from the garden shop. There are also displays from garden supplies companies and a show greenhouse. The Kurrebo Nursery and Show Gardens is owned by Tingsryd municipality and is run by the Kurrebo Trust. The garden has a long tradition of experimental cultivation of fruit. This is mainteined today and Bröderna Nelsons Frö AB has experimental summer flowers, bulds, root plants and vegetables. The garden is like a huge library where, instead of books, youcan browse amongst the plants and see how change over seasons. There is always something special to see at Kurrebo regardless of the time of year. Visit Kurrebo in the spring and you will be overwhelmed by the riot of colour when the tulips are in bloom. The Kurrebo Nursery and Show Garden has a breathtaking view of lake Åsnen, an area renowned for its natural beauty. Kurrebo is at the centre of Småland´s apple growing district. Here you can visit the “Garden of Eden” – an apple orchard and meadow established at the beginning of this century. The Kurrebo Café serves coffee and home baked bread and pastries in fresh, light surroundings. Enjoy the smell of baking from the kitchen and try some of the delicious freshly made fruit pies and cakes. The café has accommodation on the first floor with nine beds and a kitchen availadle for overnight stays. Next to the café is a craft shop where arts and crafts produkts from Småland are for sale.
